| Aaron has been at the top
of New Zealand Windsurfing since 1992 after narrowly
missing selection to the Barcelona Olympics .From there
he has progressed to the top of World Windsurfing ,
rarely finishing out of the top 5 in any major world
competition since . He has set high goals and gone about achieving them with much success .This has been the result of countless hours of training on and off the water , like in any sport to be successful you have to make it your life . The results speak for themselves . 1st Mistral Olympic Class World Championships 1994, Canada 2nd Mistral Olympic Class World Championships 1993, Japan 3rd Mistral Olympic Class World Championships 1995 ,South Africa . The Olympics, the pinnacle of all sport ,Just making it is enough many .But for Aaron will be satisfied with nothing less than GOLD. "You don’t set sights on anything less", he said. So coming away from Atlanta in 4th place you could imagine Aaron wasn’t satisfied . I’m happy but not satisfied ,he said , I had the regatta of my life but so did three others .4th place means I’ll be back , the Olympics is not over Aaron McIntosh . So watch out for Aaron on his way to the Sydney Olympics in 2000 |
