Raglan

Raglan is a holiday town on the west coast offering both harbour and ocean sailing and excellent surfing conditions. Not far away is the fourth largest city in New Zealand - Hamilton, which has been built up along the banks of the Waikato River. To see and learn about the history of Hamilton, take a paddlesteamer ride through the city centre.

20 minutes drive from Hamilton. There are toilets, and plenty of parking and rigging areas, and a camp ground.
Suits: Slalom, longboard. Intermediate......
Wind: NW,W,SW. Works best on hot summer days = strong W seabreeze.
Water: Flat - chop.
Watch: Strong outgoing current reaches up to 8 knots.

Wind: Same as for the harbour.
Water: Reaches up to 2m especially big out the back.
