Instructor's Courses

These courses take you through the stages of introducing the beginner to the equipment, getting them up and sailing, tacking, gybing and self rescue. It also covers running a school. First aid certificate is a prerequisite and the qualification expires after 3 years (needs renewal). I've just done this course and it's one of the best courses I've ever been on, Paul Tuck does a great job! It's also helped my sailing as I had to go back to basics (which I had never visited anyway). Contact the secretary of the NZWA for more information.
